【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesthedefinitionsandrequirementsforburiedmanholesandinspectionchambersinstalledtoamaximumdepthof6mfromgroundleveltotheinvertofthemainchamberandmanufacturedfromunplasticizedpoly(vinylchloride)(PVC-U),polypropylene(PP),polypropylenewithmineralmodifier(PP-MD)orpolyethylene(PE).TheseproductsareintendedforuseinpedestrianorvehiculartrafficareasandundergroundinstallationsconformingtothegeneralrequirementsgiveninEN476andareusedoutsidethebuildingstructure(applicationareacode"U").Theyarethereforemarkedaccordinglywitha"U".SuchproductsarealsodeemedtomeettherequirementsofEN13598-1forapplicationareaUwithouttheneedforfurthertesting.IfadditionallymarkedapplicationareaDthentheseproductsmustadditionallybetestedtoshowcompliancetotheelevatedtemperaturecyclingrequirementofClause10ofEN13598-1.ThisEuropeanStandardisonlyapplicabletothosechamber/manholeitemswherethemanufacturerhasclearlystatedinthedocumentationhowthecomponentsshallbeassembledtocreateacompletemanholeorinspectionchamber.TheinspectionchamberscoveredbythisEuropeanStandardcomprisethefollowing:--inspectionchambersprovidingaccesstothedrainageorseweragesystembymeansofinspectionandcleaningequipment.--chambers,designatedasmanholesprovidingmanaccesstothedrainageorseweragesystem.Theinspectionchamber/manholecanbemanufacturedbyvariousmethodse.g.injectionmoulding,rotationalmoulding,low-pressuremouldingorfabricatedfromcomponentsmadeinaccordancewithotherstandards.Thejointingofcomponentscanbeachievedusing:--elastomericringsealjoints;--adhesivejointsforPVC-U;--weldedjointsforPVC-U,PPandPE;--extrusionwelding;--mechanicaljointing.NOTEBothmanholesandinspectionchamberscanbesiteassembledfromdifferentcomponents,butcanalsobemanufacturedasasingleunit.Ineithercase,thefollowingfunctionalpartscanberecognized:a)base(alwayspresent)Incaseofaone-piecechamberormanhole,thebasepartendsatadistanceof300mmmeasuredfromthetopofthemainchannel;b)riser(depthdependent);c)telescopicpart(designdependent);d)cone(dependentonthedesignofnearsurfacecomponentsandtheirrecommendedinstallation);e)othernearsurfacecomponents.
